There is nothing we need more than loving adopters for our dogs. We cannot pull more dogs from the shelter, if they have nowhere to go. It is not always easy. A rescue dog coming straight out of the shelter may be anxious and depressed. There may be behavioral difficulties that you did not expect. Despite this, there are also overwhelming rewards.
